Elizabeth - Founder Volunteer
Happily retired, having worked with children and families for many years, I now have time to indulge my passion for gardening, and being outdoors. Whether it’s exercising, shifting muck, or just sitting with a cuppa listening to the birds, I’m always happiest when I can spend time outside. |
Vicki - Founder Volunteer
As well as volunteering for The Little Onion Club, I am a caregiver in a residential care home at present. Also a newfound gardener, I have been involved with this project almost from the start. I get so much satisfaction from teaching the kids gardening and crafts. When I'm not working or volunteering, I am an avid reader, and love to spend time with family. |
Victoria - Founder & Coordinator
A qualified teaching assistant, I've worked with children and young adults for the last several years. With a true love of arts and crafts and a newly formed interest in gardening, starting this project was a dream come true. A year down the line and this is by far the most fulfilling and exciting journey I've been on! |
Joanne - Volunteer
I'm in the stocks as my gardening knowledge is terrible! So I've been assigned a role behind the scenes, helping with admin, fundraising and partnership development, and supporting the volunteers with anything that isn't gardening related! My background and passion is social inclusion, community development, and cycling. So as soon as they get me a bike for the gardens I may be persuaded to help with the digging! |
