All of our activities are kindly hosted at local care homes for elderly people or within community spaces.

Our Little Onions have lovingly created community gardens within the grounds of several care homes for senior residents.
As well as being for their enjoyment with play, reading, craft, flowers and wildlife observation areas, the gardens are fully functional with composting, wildlife homes, recycling, plant nurseries, plus fruit and veg patches.
The care home residents and staff also often join in the activities, sharing their own knowledge and experiences about gardening and beyond with the children and other adults.
The Little Onions collect compost and recycling from home and local workplaces to use at activities.
Produce and crafts grown and created by the Little Onions are sold at markets and events.

If you are a care home interested in hosting our Little Onions and developing a community garden, please get in touch.
